AFTER
I went to school as I usually do everyday. I took the government bus number 136 to go to Chatswood station. I needed to catch the train from Chatswood station to go to school that morning. When I was on my way from Forestville to Chatswood station, I sat behind an old man with a Zimmer frame, and I had seen this old man before. Then, he pushed the stop button in front of the Westfield shopping centre. I just thought that the driver would like to help this old man but he did not! I couldn’t believe it! Then I saw a young man that was sitting in front of the old man and I thought that he would like to help but again, he did not! What a gentleman! So then I decided to help this old man and I was so happy when I saw him smiling at me, because, a few minutes before, he had looked very upset. He said thank you to me when I helped him and, of course, I answered him 'Pleasure, Sir'. When I got back into the bus, I gave the driver a dirty look, because he deserved it.
A great start, Novita, thanks. We'll have a chat about this in class but you might like to think about formal/informal style and written/spoken language features before we do... Daniel.
